Frequently asked questions

Tree Service questions, answered

Real answers from a local Manteo tree service crew — no fluff, no upsell.

Do you remove trees over a house?

Yes — we rig it down in sections and work around your septic and landscaping. We don’t drop and hope.

Do you grind stumps?

Yes, as a separate line item, quoted up front with the removal.

Do you do emergency storm work?

Yes — storm cleanup, emergency tarping, and insurance documentation. We triage structure damage first.

Do you top trees?

No. Topping is bad for the tree and creates hazards. We trim to arborist standards instead.

What areas do you cover?

Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Duck, Corolla, and the surrounding northern Outer Banks.

Are you insured?

Ask for the insurance details with the quote — they come in writing before any work is scheduled. On storm work we coordinate with your adjuster and your roofer.

Still have a question?

The fastest answer is a quick phone call. We’re happy to talk through your situation at no charge.

/* `bottom-0` + `pb-[env(safe-area-inset-bottom)]` keeps the bar clear of the home indicator on a notched device. The `sm:hidden` is what makes it mobile-only: from 640px up the header carries the number, and two of them on one screen is a duplicate, not a reinforcement. THE BAR IS RENDERED ONLY WHEN THERE IS A NUMBER. A site built for a business with no phone on file (measured 2026-10-21: 19 of the 100 OBX prospects) would otherwise ship a "Call " button whose href is "tel:+1" — a dead link, and a bar that covers the legal disclosure while pointing at nothing. The form is the CTA on those sites. */
